Dulaku Family
The Dulaku family has been involved in the construction business since the early 90s. Through the company Edil Al IT, which served as the flagship company of the group for over two decades, they expanded their activities into the fields of telecommunications, media, sales, and most recently into port infrastructure, hospitality and tourism.
The family consolidated their various assets across different business sectors under the umbrella of Concord Investment Group. As stated on the company website, the Concord Investment group is a "family group" created by the three brothers under the administration of Artan Dulaku.
Other important companies within the group are: INER, Edil Al IT, Media Vizion. The group owns shares of Tring TV, ALBANIAN SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS and several other companies.
In recent years, the group expanded into port infrastructure activities and the construction of tourist villages. The companies owned by the brothers recently won the concession rights of the Port of Limioni in Saranda in July 2020, in partnership with Kastrati Group. They leased public properties on the coast and were granted the status of a "strategic investor".
This relationship has been followed by accusations of media bias in favor of the current government, accusations that they have strongly denied.
Meanwhile, following a report made to the Special Anti-Corruption Structure, SPAK, by former Deputy Commander of the Naval Force Artur Meçollari, parts of the properties leased by Concord Investment and Kastrati Group, owned previously by the Armed Forces, were placed under seizure.
In 2016, the owners were accused of censoring a critical show about waste management in the capital, in which the mayor was accused of abuses. They denied the accusations.
Artan Dulaku and Genci Dulaku were involved in the media in the late 90s as co-founders of a television initially known as Gjeli Vizion. In 2000, together with Agim Buxheli, they registered the company Media Vizion, which owned the television. They also own the paid digital platform Tring TV, founded by their spouses. The family also owns the magazine Living and a television channel with the same name.
Additionally, the brothers and their spouses are owners in several other companies. Their businesses are mainly focused on construction and property development, shopping centers, telecommunications, and media.
