Armand Shkullaku

Armand Shkullaku

Armand Shkullaku is a journalist, political analyst and the founder of the online media, Lapsi.al. He started his career in journalism in early ‘90 at the daily “Koha Jone” and later became a leading figure at the newspaper, as well as TV Klan, Klan Kosova and ABC News.

Since 2017, Shkullaku hasn't held any other media directing positions apart from his involvement with Lapsi.al. Shkullaku presented his departure from ABC News at that time as a move by the government of Edi Rama to gain control over critical media.

Shkullaku has a strongly critical stance toward Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government and he appeared in support of the Democratic Party protest ahead of the 2017 elections. Shkullaku has been the president of the Professional Journalists Association of Albania for many years. He is also a shareholder with a 5.2 percent stake in an unlisted asset trading company.
