FFM Group
FFM Group Shpk (Free and Fair Media Group) was founded on 21/09/2011 by Alba Malltezi, later joined by Eva Doçi and the Italian company Superba Shpk. The latter departed in 2019, and Malltezi acquired its shares.
Malltezi, the spouse of the Italian journalist and owner of Report TV, Carlo Bollino, holds the majority of shares (80%). Doçi owns 20% of the shares.
The company was established shortly after the Italian company Edisud LLC sold its shares in Albanian media, which had been managed by Bollino for two decades. Immediately after its registration, FFM Group founded Shqiptarja.com Shpk, where it owns 99.53% of the shares. Until 2019, the company published the Shqiptarja.com newspaper and ran the online platform with the same name. The group ceased the publication of the newspaper in 2019, focusing on the online version.
FFM Group also initially ventured into television broadcasting, as through its subsidiary Media Content, it acquired 34% of the shares of the company formerly owned by the PS deputy Koço Kokëdhima, known as Ballkan TV, in 2013, to start television broadcasts under the name A1 Report. The agreement with Kokëdhima was terminated in September 2015.
Following the termination of the agreement with Kokëdhima, the television continued broadcasting as Report TV, but now under the sole ownership of Bollino.
FFM Group and MTSC are treated here as separate companies, but the media owned by these two companies operate publicly as part of the same group. The online page Shqiptarja.com publishes Report TV videos, and the latter reports on the news published on the online platform. Similarly, the social media pages of the media and the group treat the media as interconnected under the leadership of Bollino and Malltezi.

They vehemently denied the accusations and insisted on the editorial independence of the media outlets they manage.

Although he is not listed as owner or CEO of the company, Carlo Bollino, a former journalist at the Italian news agency ANSA, is considered as the key figure behind Shqiptarja.com and the company Free and Fair Media or FFM Group where his spouse holds 80% of the shares. He also owns Report TV- where he has 100 % of shares. Although Bollino is perceived as close to the government and Socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama, he has rejected such accusations as politically motivated and has affirmed his independence.
