Panorama.com.al is the online page of the most popular newspaper in Albania, the daily ‘Panorama’. The webpage was launched in January 2003, according data from web archive. Like its print namesake, the webpage is owned by the Panorama Group, sole owner of which is the businessman Irfan Hysenbelliu. Apart from the articles published in the newspaper and analysis/comment from key contributors, the webpage also offers breaking news, sports and show business materials. Considering its online page as the ‘leader’ in the market, in a response to MOM information request the Panorama Group offered a google analytic print out, which showed the webpage www.panorama.com.al had 95.7 million pages view in the period October-November 2017, with 2.66 million unique visitors.

Irfan Hysenbelliu, Alban Xhaferri and Lefter Sota – the daily newspaper ‘Panorama’ started publication in 2002, as a joint-venture between three businessmen, Irfan Hysenbelliu, Alban Xhaferri and Lefter Sota. Its web page was launched in January 2003. Hysenbelliu and Xhaferri had considerable investments in the construction sector, while Sota was known for his metals company. Documents from the Albanian National Business Register show that Irfan Hysenbelliu owned 34% of the shares, while Xhaferri and Sota each had 33% of shares in the company. Alban Xhaferri withdrew from the company in 2003 and one year later went on to open the newspaper “Metropol.” In 2005, Lefter Sota also transferred his shares in the company to Hysenbelliu and in the same year founded the newspaper ‘Tirana Observer.’ The daily newspaper ‘Metropol’ closed in 2010, while Tirana Observer continues to publish online. Since 2005, Irfan Hysenbelliu is the sole owner of the media house ‘Panorama Group.’

Ardit Cela – has studied engineering and telecommunications at the University of Tirana. He has previously held the post of public affairs secretary for the Socialist Movement for Integration and also has served as the CEO of Albania’s postal service. Cela is a member of the Tirana city council and in the last elections ran as an MP for the Socialist Movement for Integration. Since January 2016 he’s been holding the post of CEO of the Panorama Group.
