Ora News
Ora News is a 24-hour informative channel. It started operations in 2007 and invested heavily in technology and talk shows. It obtained the first license from the National Council of Radio and Television in 2007 and currently transmits free on air and as well, streams online through its website oranews.tv. It transmits also through DigitAlb pay per view platform on digital terrestrial technology and as well on the same name satellite package. The television asserts that it is able to transmit live up to 24 hours continuously from several of the main towns in Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo. It has a workforce of 80 and during the last elections had paid an Italian market research company to conduct exit polls on election day.

Ilda Prifti – In 2006 Ilda Prifti founded a company named Ora, to run a local television based in Tirana with paid capital of 100.000,00 Lek (USD 1.067). In December 2006, the capital of the company increased to 25 Mio. Lek (USD 266.894) and the television station was launched in the 24-hour-news format ahead of the 2006 local elections. She is a relative of Alba Gina, the wife of Aleksander Frangaj. Ilda Prifti was born in 1988 and was 18 years old when her name appeared in the business registry as founder of the company.

Ylli Ndroqi’s name appears for the first time in the National Business Registry records in 2003, through the company YLDON LLC, with paid capital of 20,000 Euro. In 2016, the company had revenues of 21 Mio Lek (USD 163.691) and assets of 734 Mio Lek (USD 5.72 Mio).
In December 2010, Ylli Ndroqi purchased 100% of the shares of Teknotrade LLC for 265,000 Euro. The company was renamed Channel One and now operates the local television station with the same name. Ndroqi sold the company to Astrit Sejdini for 26.5 Mio Lek (USD 206.563) in 2011. In 2013, Ndroqi repurchased the company for the same amount. In 2016 Channel One declared revenues of 6.8 Mio Lek (USD 53.004) and net losses of 7.2 Mio Lek (USD 56.122).
During the last decade Ylli Ndroqi has established several companies with a small or no monetary circulation. Since 2012 Ylli Ndroqi has been serving as an honorary consul of the United States of Mexico in Albania.
